story-telling project

This story-telling project aims to profile young people that are engaged in food an
farming systems, and explore the motivations, challenges and opportunities for
young growers in Glasgow, Scotland and across Oyo State in Nigeria.
We visited 10 young people involved in market gardening, community gardening
and hydroponics, to ask them why they do what they do and what the barriers for
young people who want to grow food are.
This project was inspired by the need for a new generation of young growers to
feed us, challenging the stereotype of what farmers and food growers look like.
This film is looking at the experiences of some of these young food growers.
